Rica Amaral is an icon of Psy Trance in Brazil, a pioneer of the genre since 1996. His journey is intertwined with the very history of the psy scene in the country, marked by his dedication to the culture and psychedelic lifestyle. With charisma, stage presence, and a unique sensibility, Rica crafts memorable sets that turn dance floors into sessions of reflection and trance. Awarded more than ten times by Erika Palomino’s “Noite Ilustrada” column and by DJ Sound magazine, he has stood out at events such as Big Brother Brasil (Season 5), Rock in Rio — described as the “Nectar of the Gods” — and festivals like Skol Beats and Boom Festival. Since 1996, Rica has conquered the global scene, performing at events such as Voov Experience, Fusion Festival, and Full Moon Festival, and was also a resident at Winter Deluxe in Berlin in 2004.

During the pandemic, Rica delved into music production, releasing his first album in 2021 and, in 2022, the project ACIDA — a 100% original Psychedelic Trance live set.
