Gordo, one of the most impactful names in global electronic music today, is returning to Rio de Janeiro for a special free event during Carnival. Riding the momentum of his new hit “Loco Loco”, the artist will headline a historic open-air performance this Saturday starting at noon, at a secret beach location — rumored to be truly “feet in the sand.”
To access the exact location, fans must register through the official event link. The address will be sent directly to registered attendees.
Gordo is the house and techno alter ego of Diamanté Blackmon. After making his mark as Carnage, he immersed himself in underground culture, building a sound that bridges Latin roots and contemporary electronic music. With performances at major festivals such as Coachella and Tomorrowland, along with his own TARAKA events, he has established himself as one of the most influential artists in today’s scene. In the studio, he also contributed to multiple tracks on Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind album.
After a sold-out and widely celebrated TARAKA event in Rio this past January, Gordo now returns to the city during Carnival for what promises to be a landmark moment.
